Every Day Counts is the county's only attendance program for our all-county schools! 

2024-2025 Requirements:

1. No more than three excused days of school can be missed
2. Doctors appointments are excused if the student returns to school.
3. No more than two tardies per semester

What is the Every Day Counts Program?

​The Every Day Counts program aims to raise awareness about the critical role that regular school attendance plays in a student's academic achievement. By motivating students to pledge and maintain good attendance throughout the school year, the program rewards their commitment with the opportunity to win various prizes.

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce has been included in homecoming parades and games in order to spread awareness on the importance of good attendance. At homecoming games students had the opportunity to pledge that they would have good attendance for the chance to win an Every Day Counts tumbler. The Chamber will be set up at games during the upcoming basketball season!

Senior Celebrations

Seniors who meet the requirements in their final year will be eligible to participate in the Senior Celebration. All students at the senior celebration will receive a prize ranging from gift cards up to the final prize: a new car!
