Sunrise Therapeutic Riding Center is excited to announce our move to Earlham College! This transition marks a new chapter for our program, providing an enhanced facility to continue offering equine-assisted activities and therapies to individuals with physical, emotional, cognitive, and mental health challenges.

We are also thrilled to welcome our new head riding instructor, Caroline Ferguson! Caroline brings a strong background in equine-assisted therapy and horsemanship, with years of experience working with diverse riders of all ages and abilities. Her passion for helping individuals grow through their connection with horses makes her a wonderful addition to the Sunrise team.

To celebrate our new location, we invite you to our Open House at Earlham on Saturday, March 15th, from 1–3 PM! Come tour the facility, meet our team, and learn more about our programs.

MUNCIE, Ind. – Meridian Health Services is providing FREE dental exams for one-day only for children ages 1 to 14 on Monday, February 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Meridian Dental locations throughout Indiana. This event, Give Kids a Smile®, is part of a nationwide initiative led by the American Dental Association to provide children in need with quality oral health care and education.

Oral health is a vital part of whole-person health. Untreated dental diseases can contribute to serious health problems, including heart disease and diabetes. Regular checkups and professional care are the keys to maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

The free dental exam will include polishing, cleaning, and fluoride application. Schedule an appointment in advance by calling 866-306-2647 and mention the Give Kids a Smile FREE dental exam. Walk-ins are welcome. However, space is limited, and appointments are encouraged to avoid wait times.

Master the key documents
Five documents show you how your business is performing financially. When you can read and prepare these documents, you’ll be able to make better decisions and improve your business’s financial health. The documents you should know include:

• Income statement: This shows your company’s profitability — how much money your business has earned or lost.
• Balance sheet: This is a high-level view of your business's financial health at a single point in time.
• Profit and loss (P&L) statement: This provides a snapshot of your business’s income and expenses quarterly, monthly, or yearly.
• Cash flow statement: This shows how and where you receive and spend money through your business operations, investing, or financing.
• Bank reconciliation: This reconciles your bookkeeping with your bank balance, helping you keep consistent records for tax purposes.
