Awards, Celebrations & Events Committee
The Chamber's Awards, Celebrations and Events (ACEs) Committee focuses on bringing Chamber members and the community together to promote local businesses. The committee is made up of a group of volunteers from area businesses of all types - they might also be referred to as the meet and greet committee!
The ACEs committee will do multiple ribbon cuttings throughout the year for grand openings, business remodels, and milestone celebrations. This is a perfect time for a business to open their doors to promote their business and allow the community to celebrate with them and make personal connections.
In addition, the ACEs committee works hard each year putting together the Community Improvement Awards Luncheon, which recognizes companies and businesses that have enhanced the exterior of their physical building structure and the surrounding area or neighborhood. We are proud to award multiple businesses each year at this luncheon.
The Chamber Annual Dinner is the largest event the ACEs committee puts on. With nearly 600 attendees at the dinner each year, it takes hands-on effort and creativity.
The Awards, Celebrations & Events Committee is an active committee that helps others celebrate their milestones and successes while creating connections among the group and businesses throughout Wayne County.
The ACEs Committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 3:30 pm
