HYPE Wayne County
HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Engage) Wayne County is the Chamber's newest committee. HYPE aims to connect employers and the young workforce together, bridging gaps for the future leaders. HYPE, which was previously a stand-alone 501c(3), has redirected their programming to include more professional development opportunities for their members.
Monthly meetings include 30 minutes of networking and skill development from a professional in the community. The next hour is spent building programming and events for wayne County's young professionals, including professional development opportunities and social networking choices.
Young professionals ages 21-40 who are interested in getting involved should reach out to Shawntel Baker at Shawntel@WCAreaChamber.org. HYPE Wayne County meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 pm.
