The National Civics Bee is an annual competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.

Participating 6th, 7th and 8th grade students flex their civics knowledge for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes.

The fifth annual National Civics Bee will take place in 2026 in partnership with local and state chambers of commerce across the United States.

The Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to have been named an official partner to host a regional competition in Richmond, Indiana in 2026.  Information for students and teachers will be distributed by local school corporations.
