With the delta variant of COVID-19 continuing to cause illness, hospitalizations and deaths in our community many local residents are looking for information on how they can keep themselves and their families safe. On Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 6pm, Dr. Thomas Huth, VP, Medical Affairs, Reid Health and Dr. David Jetmore, Wayne County Health Officer are again making themselves available to answer community members questions with an appearance on Whitewater Community Television’s weekly public affairs program, IN Focus. Joining Dr. Jetmore and Dr. Huth will be local retired pediatrician and Wayne County Health Board President, Dr. Paul Rider.
“We have been receiving messages through email and social media asking if we would be bringing back the Ask the Doctors show that ran Friday’s on WGTV, Channel 11 for about 65 weeks ending on June 18th of this year”, according to WCTV Executive Director and IN Focus host, Eric Marsh. “The doctors are willing to do whatever is necessary to help keep residents safe and informed, we’re hopeful that those interested in information on COVID will find their appearances on IN Focus helpful.” This will be the doctors third appearance on IN Focus since early August, having participated in the program on August 5th and September 2nd.
If you have a question you would like to pose to the panel, it can be emailed to WCTV at WCTV@iue.edu by 5pm on September 23rd. During the show questions can be posed by asking on the WCTV Facebook page or by sending your question via Twitter to @WCTVinfo.
