Supplied by Whitewater Community Television September 15, 2021 With the delta variant of COVID-19 continuing to cause illness, hospitalizations and deaths in our community many local residents are looking for information on how they can keep themselves and their families safe. On Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 6pm, Dr. Thomas Huth, VP, Medical Affairs, Reid Health and Dr. David Jetmore, Wayne County Health Officer are again making themselves available to answer community members questions with an appearance on Whitewater Community Television’s weekly public affairs program, IN Focus. Joining Dr. Jetmore and Dr. Huth will be local retired pediatrician and Wayne County Health Board President, Dr. Paul Rider. “We have been receiving messages through email and social media asking if we would be bringing back the Ask the Doctors show that ran Friday’s on WGTV, Channel 11 for about 65 weeks ending on June 18th of this year”, according to WCTV Executive Director and IN Focus host, Eric Marsh. “The doctors are willing to do whatever is necessary to help keep residents safe and informed, we’re hopeful that those interested in information on COVID will find their appearances on IN Focus helpful.” This will be the doctors third appearance on IN Focus since early August, having participated in the program on August 5th and September 2nd.

During the show questions can be posed by asking on the WCTV Facebook page or by sending your question via Twitter to @WCTVinfo. IN Focus airs Thursday evenings at 6pm on WGTV, Channel 11 (on Comcast cable in Wayne County). For those wishing to view the program who live outside of Wayne County or who are without the ability to view Comcast, the program is streamed live on WCTV’s Facebook page as well as on WGTV Online: https://wgtv.viebit.com. Replays of the show can be seen on WGTV, Channel 11, Thursday at 10:30pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 8am and 9pm and Sunday at 8am and 1pm. Audio only replays of the show can be heard Sunday mornings on G101.3 and their sister station ESPN Radio 1490 &100.9 WKBV. The program is also available for viewing on WGTV Online in the Video on Demand section.
