Warm Glow: A Bright Future

​Snickerdoodle, hot apple butter, creamy vanilla bean, and northern pine are just some of
the delectable smells wafting through the air. An ambiance of reds, greens, and browns welcome
you as you walk into one of the largest candle stores in the Midwest. Just off I-70 at the
Centerville exit is Warm Glow Candle Co., home of their famous American-made candles and
decor. The store boasts an impressive array of merchandise, from rustic signs and home decor, to
garden pieces and handmade chocolates. The sister store here, Artisans & Java, features booths
for over a dozen independent artisans. They do everything from wood carving, to jewelry
making, to pottery and home decor. Any aesthetic can be found represented in one of these
booths; This is why variety is such a special quality of Warm Glow and its combined sister
stores.

The intellectuals behind such a thriving business are Alan and Jackie Carberry. The pair
created their famous “highly fragrant, long lasting, clean burning, and cost effective” candle in
the basement of their home in 1994. Now today they have amassed nationwide sales. Open 7
days a week from 9am to 7pm, you're sure to be lured in by the charm and ever changing
additions (including a giant Warm Glow candle at the front of their building), improved curb
appeal, and a new outdoor decor center called The Pavillion. Details like these are what have
attracted customers for years, and they serve to make everyone’s experience at Warm Glow just a
little bit brighter--and the Carberry’s make sure it truly is accessible to everyone through
wheelchair accessible entrances, parking accommodations for highway trailers and RVs and of
course being pet friendly. The store, the products, and the customer service all show the care and
commitment that goes into Warm Glow Candle Company everyday.

One would expect a candle store to have a lot of scents and varieties--but you’d be blown
away at the options available here. With over 50 candle scents in all different varieties: mini,
hearth, loaf, melts and more--means there's something for everyone. It's easy to spend a long
time browsing, so while you’re there stop into Stone Hearth Cafe located inside. You'll find a
range of sandwiches, pizza, and pork menu items to enjoy, and if you have room for more you
can explore the desserts--Picking up some artisanal candies or a cup of hand-dipped ice cream is
always sure to satisfy.

The future of Warm Glow looks bright. Loyal customers love the rugged look of these
candles and continually praise their quality. Even new customers will be impressed with their
lineup of new modern style candles and scents. It seems the Carberrys really know their market;
Nationwide sales and loyal customers have made them a household name. Warm Glow has
outlasted competitors for so many years due to their quality, commitment, and genuine desire to
make customers happy. When asked what continues to inspire her about Warm Glow Jackie
Carberry replied, “You don’t know what you're going to expect.” She loves that everyday is
different and everyday offers a challenge. You can see all the action at one of their events: Spring
